I was reading my watched lists today and it really got me to thinking. One of my friends here has this post that is rather long. In fact many of her posts are long but what I really see is a vibrant blossoming full of life person. She is infectious to be around as you want what she has. I don't mean in a jealous way or even in an envious way. I mean you want to participate and be a part of this persons life!
Life is full of ups and downs. We each have our own crosses to bear. I make efforts to keep my negativity and depression away from others but when I hit one of those stressed out moments. The times when I get so overwhelmed with life on life's terms, I loose site of what is important and of value in my life.
So this morning, I have to ask myself... Am I being infectious in a positive way to those I love and care about or am I simply a virus. No one wants a virus around. I know I haven't been the positive light I wan tot be in recent times but I am trying to clean the windows a bit to make it easier to see.
What are you today? Are you the virus or the antibiotic?

ReplyDeleteI do tend to take out my ranting and bad feelings out on my blog...as I think about how I'm going to word them, it releases the negative, so I can concentrate on the positive. Also, when getting feedback, it is a pick me up for sure.
But, I'm always there to support others just as much...so it's a two way street-get infected with the virus of support and be the antibiotic for yourself and others. So I guess we can consider ourselves both?!?
You got it. I can be both in a positive manor. I dislike the saying..." You're not the only one going through this mess" You are right... I'm not the only one suffering. But my pain is min and yours is yours. That being said, our pain and walking through it can help the person next to us deal with theirs. So we can help be the cure too. I just need to stop dwelling and remember to take action. Thanks for sharing. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteIt is funny - on AFF, I usually put nerdy news type stuff so I would not reveal the real me over there. Over here, I am more prone to talk about who I really am. I might even put up a real picture of my girls over here. I can be "me" over here...
